The story of the film is about the intense fight within a family for its wealth. A rich NRI, Prathapa Varma (Sai Kumar), dies unexpectedly and there starts a terrible war to inherit his wealth. As per the will Varma had prepared, Alexander Varma, played by Mohanlal, is the legal heir; as we can predict easily, Alex is the illegitimate son of Varma.The family members, led by Varma's son Manu (Bala), gang up to find Alex and finish him off. To their amazement, they find that their man is autistic and has quirky habits; but he possesses a razor sharp brain. He can byheart a telephone directory in a matter of hours....
